uSMART Group is a leading fintech company that provides intelligent, professional, and exceptional one-stop financial services and solutions. The group is dedicated to integrating technology deeply with finance, offering investment trading services through its all-in-one platform, the uSMART App. This platform covers a range of investment categories, including U.S. stocks, Hong Kong stocks, new stocks, options, futures, fractional shares, and foreign exchange. It also offers wealth management products such as funds, bonds, notes, and the Follow-Easy platform. With a client-centered approach, the group aims to deliver a secure, professional, intelligent, and efficient investment experience. The investment research and asset management teams focus on asset management, wealth management, securities brokerage, and investment banking services, serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and corporations, and providing comprehensive asset management solutions. Currently, uSMART Group operates two main business areas: securities brokerage and fintech services. Securities brokerage is conducted through its subsidiaries uSMART HK and uSMART Singapore. Initially established in Hong Kong, uSMART Securities holds licenses for Type 1, Type 4, and Type 9 regulated activities issued by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission. uSMART Singapore obtained a Capital Markets Services (CMS) license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore in December 2021. Fintech services are provided by FinSmart Solution, which not only supports the fintech needs of its sister companies uSMART Hong Kong and uSMART Singapore but also develops financial systems for external clients. Despite being less than six months old, the company has already gained industry recognition and partnerships. Since its establishment, uSMART Group has experienced rapid growth, securing investments from well-known Hong Kong consortiums and strategic investments from Chow Tai Fook. The group now has offices and operational centers in Hong Kong and Singapore, and a technology R&D center in Shenzhen, China.

Perry Tsea
CFO, uSMART Group


With over 20 years of experience as a CFO and in international investment banking, Perry Tsea has held senior roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, UBS, Deutsche Bank, and Nomura. In recent years, he has served as CFO for technology companies supported by investors such as DST, Matrix, IDG, and Tencent. He holds a Master’s in Finance from London Business School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

 

Chao Luo
CEO, uSMART Securities (Singapore) Pte Ltd


With over fifteen years of experience in the Singapore financial industry, Chao Luo previously worked as a client advisor at UBS Singapore, providing customized asset allocation solutions for high-net-worth clients. He has also been involved in mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments. Chao holds a Master’s in Finance from Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

 

Jonathan Slone
CEO, uSMART Securities (USA)


In 1988, Jonathan Slone joined CLSA as the Regional Research Director for Hong Kong. By 2008, he became the CEO of CLSA. During his tenure, he led negotiations with CITIC Securities, which resulted in CITIC Securities acquiring CLSA. In 2024, he joined uSMART Securities as CEO of uSMART Securities (USA).

Executive Director, uSMART Securities


An international finance expert with 10 years of experience, Neo Lee currently serves as Executive Director at uSMART Securities. His previous roles include positions at HSBC Global Banking and Markets, CITCO Fund Services USA, Luk Fook Financial Group Hong Kong, Yongfeng Bank Taiwan, and MassMutual Taiwan. He is proficient in global market institutional business, wealth management, international financial regulations, cross-border financial structures, and international financial product issuance solutions.
