In recent years, he has served as CFO for technology companies supported by investors such as DST, Matrix, IDG, and Tencent. He holds a Master’s in Finance from London Business School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Chao Luo
CEO, uSMART Securities (Singapore) Pte Ltd

With over fifteen years of experience in the Singapore financial industry, Chao Luo previously worked as a client advisor at UBS Singapore, providing customized asset allocation solutions for high-net-worth clients. He has also been involved in mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments. Chao holds a Master’s in Finance from Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Jonathan Slone

In 1988, Jonathan Slone joined CLSA as the Regional Research Director for Hong Kong. By 2008, he became the CEO of CLSA. During his tenure, he led negotiations with CITIC Securities, which resulted in CITIC Securities acquiring CLSA. In 2024, he joined uSMART Securities as CEO of uSMART Securities (USA).
